MASHA ENOS - SENIOR SCIENTIST IN TRANSLATIONAL BIOLOGY

"If you're interested, go for it. We have so many things that need answering."

Masha Enos is a Senior Scientist in Translational Biology at Moderna. In her scientific career, she has studied everything from basic yeast genetics and the processes of DNA repair to the underlying causes of human diseases and developing therapies to treat them. The breadth of her experience allows her to think big and connect the dots, which she says is "really helpful when you are working on the “edge” of knowledge and need to solve complex problems."

"In my mind science is not only exciting and intellectually stimulating, but it can also make life better for others. As hard as it may be, it can change the world and make it a better place. Here is one of my favorite quotes by JFK that comes to mind: “we do these things not because they are easy, but because they are hard.”"
