JEANNIE SPAGNOLO - SENIOR SCIENTIST WORKING IN BIO-EDUCATION

Jeannie Spagnolo became fascinated by viruses at a young age and went on to get a BSc degree in Molecular Biology from Lehigh University, followed by a Ph.D. in Molecular Virology & Microbiology from Baylor College of Medicine. After that she went on to complete postdoctoral research at Stanford University. She has enjoyed working with several viral systems including coronavirus, poliovirus, and hepatitis C virus.


She entered the biotech realm and has been at Bio-Rad Laboratories for the last 10 years. She started as a Senior Scientist and now works in the BioEducation group at Bio-Rad.
